El verano de 2021 se desarrolló la Fase II y la III de la serie JaZzArT y en este ha llegado la Fase IV. Comenzó todo con los dibujos en blanco y negro que hice años atrás con grafitos y tintas que se convirtieron en la Fase I.

Para hacer la Fase II he cambiado el estilo, ya no dibujando solamente, pero pintando el fondo con acuarela creando un cuadro de abstracción sobre el cual la línea negra dibuja las figuras. Así entonces las fases han ido surgiendo.

Los cuadros de la Fase II y la III se han vendido todos. Ahora os iré presentando los fe la Fase IV que son nueve cuadros. El papel mide 25×35 cm y el dibujo 19×24 cm.

In the summer of 2021 Phase II and Phase III were born to JaZzArT. This summer I developed Phase IV. Everything started with the black and white drawings with graphite and ink that I called JaZzArT that became Phase I.

To create Phase II I created a background with watercolours and on top I did the figures with graphite and ink. This created a colourful abstract painting as the background. That’s how the other phases were developed.

All of Phase II and III has been sold. So now I bring to all collectors and art lovers Phase IV. The paper measures 25×35 cm and the painting 19×24 cm.

A mi siempre me ha gustado la música, yo se que a vosotros también, por supuesto, no he conocido jamás a alguien que me diga que no le gusta. Además lo bueno que tiene la música, como todas las artes, es que hay para escoger.

Yo, como estudioso de las artes, especialmente tratando, hace muchos años de convertirme en un buen musico, he estudiado casi todos los géneros y los estilos, especialmente los populares como el rock, el jazz y la música clásica. Por ende, al intentar también componer, escucho una gama muy amplia de estilos y aquí os brindo uno de los que mas me atrae, especialmente de la música autóctona norteamericana, específicamente de EEUU, el country.

He escogido a tres grandes músicos de country: Charlie Daniels, pionero, innovador, y compositor de canciones icónicas del genero. Jerry Reed, otro que también aportó mucho con sus canciones humorosas. El tercero, Jim Croce, quizá no se pueda decir que perteneció completamente al genero, pero es que su música y su carrera, muy corta, sucedió en los años setenta cuando, en EEUU, no se diferenciaba tanto la música country del rock popular.

Así que espero que os guste y que me contéis que pensáis de estos tres titanes del country music.

I have always loved music, I know you do too. I have never met anyone who has told me that they don’t like music. And what is great about it, as it is with all arts, is that there is plenty to choose from.

Myself, as a student of the arts and at one time trying to educate myself as a musician, I studied all the genres, all the styles, especially the most popular ones like rock, country, jazz, and classical. So, in order to be able to compose, I listen to all styles, a wide variety. In this post I bring you a genre that I really love, Country Music, the true and autochthonous music of North America, specifically the United States.

I have chosen three of the greats: Charlie Daniels, innovator, pioneer, composer of some of the most iconic songs of the genre. Jerry Reed, another one that brought us some memorable songs. The third one, Jim Croce, might not be a full-fledged member of the Country Music family, but his songs, and his short career in the early seventies made that his songs were played in both formats on the radio, after all in those years there was not a very wide gap between country and mainstream pop/rock.

So, I hope you like these three songs and that you tell me what you think about these three titans of music.
