El mar, aunque tiene un sinfín de colores siempre luce azul como lo es el cielo, azul, como debe ser, pues no hay nada que agrade mas al alma que mirar al cielo y verlo azul…

El barco reposa tranquilamente sobre las aguas místicas, arcanas, y llenas de misterios y en sus profundidades, abundan los tesoros de antiguos marineros que ahora descansan en el fondo del mar…

Navegar sobre las aguas del Egeo o del Mediterráneo supone una experiencia que va de lo sublime a lo espiritual, de lo divertido a lo espectacular, de lo tranquilo a lo tempestuoso y creedme que he pasado tempestades en esos mares y en otros, pero no me alejo, nunca lo haré. He nacido frente al mar y frente al mar vivo y frente al mar moriré, si Dios lo quiere así.

The sea, although it really contains quite a lot of colours, always looks blue like the sky, blue, as it should be, because there is nothing more pleasing to the soul than looking up and seeing the blue sky above…

The boat rests peacefully on the mystic waters, arcane and filled with mystery, as well as treasures deep below. Treasures and sailors who now rest on the ocean floor.

To sail the Aegean or the Mediterranean is an experience that goes from the sublime to the spiritual, from fun to spectacular, from easy to stormy. And believe me I have gone through several storms on those seas, as well as in others. But I am never too far away. I was born next to the sea, I live next to the sea and I will die next to the sea if the good Lord wills it.

A Fine Art Print is a way to make your original image reach a larger audience. It is a reproduction, unlimited, or could be a limited series signed by the artist and indicating what the total number is and what number that particular print is. I have chosen a company, Fine Art America, as the company that will sell and ship fine art prints of some of my paintings. They do the entire transaction and all I do is supply the image and construct a virtual gallery for the collector or lover of art to choose.

Si cierras los ojos nada podrás ver,
y lo que veas,
con los ojos cerrados,
son cosas que no existen.
Y aunque te parezca fácil y te provoque vivir con los ojos cerrados,
iras tropezando con todo en la vida
y vivir,
rodando por los suelos,
no me asienta…

Este cuadro es de 2008, pintado durante mi época de Omnia Caelum Studios Miami. Está hecho al óleo y también con acrílicos sobre lienzo y mide 50 x 70 cm. y es parte de Jazz-Art. Aunque tenga algunos aspectos parecidos al «pop-art» no lo es por su significado, por su arcana y por sus rasgos expresionistas. Solo por que tenga colores brillantes no se convierte un cuadro en pop-art…

This painting is from 2008, from the days of Omnia Caelum Studios Miami. It is painted with a mix of oils and acrylics on canvas and measures 20″x30″ (in US inches) and it is part of Jazz Art. Although it may have some aspects that may resemble it to pop-art, it is not, basically because of its symbolism, its arcana and its expressionistic traits. Bright colours alone do not make a painting pop art…
