THE WATER IS A MIRROR FOR THE MOON

I rub the night away and see the sky,
Return to yellow, blue and red,
The sun, with all the power rising high
Pointing to distant roads where I have tread.
The water is a mirror for the moon,
the moon designs the road where you have lead,
where flowers bloom where dry leaves lingered so,
and die instead…
I look beyond the windows of my soul,
And sing…
I lie asleep while feeling warm the sun,
With eyes closed tightly…
I sing as clouds swallow my tears as rain
to let it fall on oceans…

#poem, «The Zebra Pass»

An interesting place on the road, a zebra pass. We cross them daily when we walk about the city, yet we don’t…at times…realise the many things that go on as we step over those white lines on the black asphalt. Here is what I think of the zebra pass.

Photos taken on the night of 13 MAR 2020, the last night before the start of the pandemic confinement that lasted almost four months…
