Esta canción, del hijo del torero Luis Miguel Dominguín y de la actriz italiana Lucía Bosé, es…en mi humilde opinion…casi un himno a una bella ciudad española, Sevilla… «Sevilla» salió en el disco Bandido en 1984. Fue número uno en España en diciembre de 1984. En 2009 la Diputación de Sevilla le dió a Bosé el honor de ser Hijo Adoptivo, y junto a ese titulo, el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla le presentó el Galardón Giraldillo de Oro.

Only one of the greatest Country-Rock-Blues bands to come out of the Southern United States, The Allman Brothers Band, originally headed by the brothers Duane and Gregg Allman. May they both rest in peace with my appreciation for their great music. And «Statesboro Blues» is one of my favourites. Here it is from their concert in New York City. I had the opportunity to see them twice in Miami. All I can say is that they were both great concerts at the Miami Jai-Alai Fronton, filled with sweet smoke and great music.

«Statesboro Blues» was written by Blind Willie McTell in 1928, referencing the town of Statesboro, Georgia. It was covered by Taj Mahal in 1968. It is listed as one of the great guitar songs and as well in 2005, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution placed «Statesboro Blues» as number 57 on their list of «100 Songs of the South.»

«Balloon Dog Blue» fue la pequeña escultura de cristal que un coleccionista accidentalmente rompió en Art Wynwood, Miami. La pieza de Jeff Koons, que fue una colaboración con la casa de porcelana Bernardaud, había sido inaugurada en 2021 en la Dubai World Expo. Se calculaba su valor en 39.000 euros o mas o menos 41.000 dólares (USD). «Balloon Dog Blue» medía 40x48x16cm y era una en la serie de 799 piezas.

Se dijo que el coleccionista accidentalmente tumbo la estatuilla y que esas cosas pasan, por eso la pieza estaba bien asegurada.

«Balloon Dog Blue», the sculpture that was accidentally broken while on tour to the prestigious «Art Wynwood» fair in Miami, had been a collaboration between artist Jeff Koons and porcelain house Bernardaud. Balloon Dog Blue had been inaugurated at the Dubai World Expo in 2021 and calculated to be worth somewhere around $41.000 (USD), or around 39.000 euros. The sculpture was made of porcelain and measured 40x48x16cm. Only 799 of these little shiny blue dogs were ever created.

It was stated that the collector who accidentally gave a little kick to the stand that held the little blue dog never intended to break it. The shiny sculpture was insured.

Sabréis que por ahi también me conocen como Francisco Bravo Cabrera, de València. Bueno, aquí os quiero mostrar algunas de las obras que tengo en exposición (solo con cita previa) en Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. Os diré que trabajo lo que yo llamo la espiritualidad en el arte que es la línea negra y siguiendo, mas o menos, las normas de los movimientos artísticos del surrealismo y el expresionismo, y así formando el critico-paranoico estilo de «surreal-expresionismo.»

You’ll know that in some places I am also known as Francisco Bravo Cabrera, from València. Ok, so here I want to show you some of the works I exhibit (by appointment only) at Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. I will also tell you that I work what I call the spirituality in art, which is found through the black line. I also follow, more or less, the rules of two of the most important art movements, surrealism and expressionism. Joining the two, in a critical-paranoid manner, I have come up with «surreal-expressionism.»

Mientras que en la playa fui el grano de arena más arisco y más audaz, cuando por allí pasaron los dedos ajados de un caminante, me quedé atrapado bajo una de sus uñas largas y meticulosamente cuidadas,

y en el jardín de la casa de su abuela, bajo una rama cargadita de aceitunas, sentí un extraño cosquilleo y un fuerte dolor entre los hombros que me tumbó al suelo, mojado de vino tinto.

Ese fue el día que me brotaron alas y pude volar sobre el llano que separa su huerto del mar, y el mar del pico más alto de tu memoria ya olvidada.

El «Euro-Ku» es una forma que he desarrollado, no para suplantar en Haiku tradicional, sino para poder, con su fuerza, pasión y belleza, crear, pero con el alma y espíritu europea con la que hemos nacido. No podemos, los nacidos en occidente, ponernos en la mente de uno de oriente, pero si apreciar las grandezas artísticas que hacen. Es con ese espíritu, de agradecimiento y reconocimiento, que he desarrollado el «Euro-Ku».

La forma sigue, a groso modo, la forma tradicional, pero tiene ciertas cosas que se ajustan mas a nuestra manera de pensar. Por ejemplo, sigue siendo poesía en tres frases, pero sin la necesidad de contar las silabas y las frases tienen que unirse unas con las otras siguiendo los parámetros de nuestra lógica occidental. Además debe ir acompañado de una imagen, propia del autor, que ayude a ampliar el significado de la poesía.

Es así de simple y así honro al Haiku tradicional, que es el poema mas bello del oriente.
