Pintor italiano del renacimiento nacido en 1445 en Florencia.
Se le conoce por sus representaciones de temas mitológicos, pero pintó muchos cuadros religiosos también, incluyendo decenas de Madonas y hasta algunos retratos. Sus cuadros mas conocidos son el Nacimiento de Venus y La primavera. Botticelli se pasó la vida entera en su barrio de Florencia, apartándose solo en dos ocasiones, primero en 1474 cuando fue a pintar a Pisa y luego en 1481 a Roma para pintar la capilla Sixtina.
Sandro Botticelli murió en mayo de 1510.

Italian Renaissance painter born in Florence in 1445.
He is known for his mythological themes but in fact he painted many religious themes as well and dozens of Madonna and Child. He even painted a few portraits. His most famous works are Birth of Venus and Primavera. Botticelli lived his entire life in his neighbourhood in Florence. He only took two trips, one in 1474 to paint in Pisa and then in 1481 he went to Rome to paint the Sistine Chapel.
Sandro Botticelli died in Florence in 1510.

Este gran pintor francés, bautizado Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin, nació durante el verano de 1848. Considerado un post-impresionista, pero fue mucho mas. Fue un artista que siguió la búsqueda y experimentó con los colores y creó el sintetismo, un estilo que es totalmente distinto al impresionismo. Vivió en Polinesia diez años y pinto no solo a su gente pero también sus paisajes.
Paul Gauguin murió en 1903 posiblemente de un ataque cardiaco.

This great French painter baptised Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin, was born in the summer of 1848. Although he is considered a post-impressionist, he was much more than that. He was an artist that pursued the search and experimented with colour, creating the Synthetist movement and style, something completely different from Impressionism. He lived in Polynesia for ten years where he painted the people and the scenery.
Gauguin died in 1903, possibly of a heart attack…

Jean Michel Basquiat… nació en 1960 y este artista norteamericano, neo impresionista, conquistó la fama durante la década de los 80 en Nueva York. Comenzó de grafitero junto a un colega, Al Diaz, formando el duo SAMO, (en inglés se pronuncia «same-oh», que más o menos significa «la misma cosa»). garabateaban y marcaban paredes con epigramas y luego firmaban SAMO.
Basquiat murió a la edad de 27 años de una sobredosis de heroína…

Jean Michel Basquiat was born in 1960. This North American artist is considered a neo-impressionist. He gained fame and fortune in New York during the 1980’s. He started as a graffiti tagger whose signature was SAMO (pronounced «same oh») with fellow artist and friend Al Diaz. They would tag walls with epigrams and sign with SAMO.
Basquiat died at the age of 27 years of a heroin overdose…
