Muy bien, Brad Pitt, como Sharon Stone, es un magnifico actor. Ha hecho decenas de pelis muy buenas y nos ha entretenido a todos con sus personajes, muy bien desarrollados y creíbles.

Bravo Brad Pitt! Así se hace el arte. Pero ahora te metes a escultor y a simple vista parecen buenas tus esculturas, pero yo te pregunto ¿Eres un artista-escultor, o un improvisado aprovechándote de tu fama? Quisiera saberlo porque me intriga. Creo que tu conoces bien el arte del actor y el mismo proceso lo seguimos los artistas plásticos y ni la actuación ni la escultura se puede improvisar. Nuestras artes son profesiones y los artistas han estudiado tanto como los actores y currado bien nuestra faena para desarrollar el talento que nos hace famosos.

A mi no me convences. No se si esto de la escultura es una preparación para crear un personaje o si te lo has tomado en serio. Pero si te lo has tomado en serio, busca un maestro, una academia, un guía, porque si tienes, realmente el deseo de expresar a través de la escultura, tienes que saturarte de conocimiento. Sigo siendo fan, de tus actuaciones, pero me reservo el comentario acerca de tus esculturas. Quizá en unos años serás un gran escultor también.

Very well, Brad Pitt, like Sharon Stone, is a magnificent actor. He has made dozens of great movies and has entertained us all with his well-developed and believable characters.

Bravo Brad Pitt! That’s how art is done. But now you’re getting into sculpture and at first glance, your sculptures seem good, but I ask you: Are you an artist-sculptor, or just an opportunist taking advantage of your fame? I would like to know because it intrigues me. I believe you know the art of acting very well, and the same process is followed by visual artists. Neither acting nor sculpture can be improvised. Our arts are professions, and artists have studied and worked hard to develop the talent that makes us famous.

I’m not convinced. I don’t know if this sculpture thing is a preparation to create a character or if you’re taking it seriously. But if you’re taking it seriously, look for a teacher, an academy, a guide, because if you truly have the desire to express through sculpture, you need to immerse yourself in knowledge. I’m still a fan of your performances, but I’ll reserve my comment on your sculptures. Maybe in a few years, you’ll also be a great sculptor.

Esta canción la escribí poco antes de visitar Cuba por primera vez y cuando regresé hice el vídeo con algunas fotos de la isla. Las demás fotos son de Nueva Orleans y los cuadros son originales míos de la serie «Carnaval» que hice allá por el 2008…

Se dice que las revoluciones las hacen los pocos para el beneficio de los muchos. Pero dicen tantas sandeces por ahí que uno se tiene que preguntar, ¿Por qué hablarán los que no saben? Las revoluciones son una farsa y un camino al totalitarismo y a las tiranías si no dan el próximo paso: la evolución. Y así es como progresa el pueblo. El pueblo no progresa con uno que dice que es «progresista» sino con uno que sepa pensar y que actué en pro del pueblo. Las ideologías no importan, solo los hechos cuentan.

I wrote this song shortly before my first visit to Cuba, and when I returned, I made the video with some photos of the island. The rest of the photos are from New Orleans, and the paintings are my original creations from the «Carnival» series that I made there around 2008…

It is said that revolutions are made by a few for the benefit of many. But they say so much nonsense out there that one has to wonder, why do the ignorant speak? Revolutions are a farce and a path to totalitarianism and to tyranny if they do not take the next step: evolution. And that is how the people progress. The people do not progress with someone who claims to be «progressive», but with someone who can think and act in favor of the people. Ideologies do not matter, only actions count.

Art is a creative process. The product is never something real. Artists make things up because art is contrived. Konstantin Stanislavsky, the great theatre director and creator of «the method» said that raw emotion is not art. I believe in this idea and it has become my approach to creating art.

«When I’m Sixty Four» is supposed to be the first song Paul wrote, and he wrote it when he was just about fourteen years old (1956)… It was released in the Sgt. Pepper album in 1967. The song, of course, is credited to Lennon & Mc Cartney but John claims he only threw a few words in, like the names of the grandchildren «Vera, Chuch and Dave» and «doing the garden, digging the weeds.» So it’s a Paul song…

Although it is said that Paul wrote it exactly when his father turned 64, as a sort of cabaret piece, written before the advent of rock and roll, and sort of tongue in cheek, I find the lyrics quite disturbing. I will copy the entire song below and you can tell me where you find the creepiness that immediately popped into my eyes.

To me it sounds like somebody is getting ready to be placed in a «happy home» either for the elderly or for the incapacitated in one way or another. Where else does one need to «fill in a form» or provide «your answer,» or «indicate precisely what you mean to say?» And why sign «wasting away?«

And the part about being handy? To mend a fuse? Good grief! Men at 64 and at 84 are running countries, economies, armies! And this 64 year old chap is only good for «doing the garden, digging the weeds?» And should he be out «till quarter to three,» or to any hour he wants, wouldn’t he have his own bloody key?

No, there’s something hidden in this song that The Beatles never talked about. It’s one of the strangest Beatles songs in any album. It had two clarinet players, one of them a bass clarinet, and Ringo playing the bells! Weird mate! We all knew Paul always had a penchant for audience-pleasing show tune type songs, but…

One thing that really stands out for me (hard to find something more than all I’ve already said, but I did) is that «birthday greetings bottle of wine.» I’ll take the wine old chap, you sound like yer too decrepit to drink it! Cheers!

I am really anxious to hear what you think, so listen to the song, read the lyrics, then play it again and sing along, it’s an easy enough song to sing along with Paul. (Oh, by the by, Paul did say that he had the recording speeded up so his voice sounded younger. Another weird thing!)

Vamos a ver quien pacta y con quienes y quien cede… Si los partidos respetan la voluntad de los españoles, harían a Feijóo presidente, a Sánchez primer vice y a Abascal segundo vice presidente, y los ministerios de repartirían entre todos los partidos según los escaños que han logrado, pero lamentablemente reina el egoísmo y el afán por el poder y el pueblo es el que se jode… no fotis tío…

Sharon Stone me encanta como artista, pero como pintora, ale, deja mucho que desear, mare meua, ni técnica, ni composición, ni mezcla de colores, ni gusto ni idea! Mejor lo hubiera hecho con IA. Y hace abstracción! Bueno, abstracción o manchones de pintura? El arte abstracto es muy difícil y lleva siempre una referencia, no es para principiantes…

Sharon Stone debutó como artista el 2 de marzo (2023) y su exposición la tituló «Shedding, a Prelude» y fue en el hotel Oceanside, uno de los hoteles de la época del glamur de Hollywood allá por la década de los 1930. Pero, curiosamente solo invitó a sus amigas, mujeres todas. La expo contaba con 17 cuadros.

Yo le recordaría a la la señorita Stone que el arte, como la actuación, es una profesión (aunque las dos profesiones se prestan al hobby) y hay que trabajarla con la misma seriedad con la que los actores trabajan el arte suyo, arte que yo respeto muchísimo. Además le sugeriría que acudiera a una academia, que se apunte y que aprenda, especialmente si se va a dedicar a la abstracción, que no son solo manchas de pintura sobre la tela.

Y claro está, cualquier galería va a flipar si ella la escoge para exponer, al fin y al cabo es Sharon Stone. Igual pasa con Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt et al. No es porque su obra tenga validez artística, es porque son famosos!

Sharon Stone, I love her as an actress, but as a painter, well, she leaves a lot to be desired. Neither technique, nor composition, nor color mixing, nor taste, nor any idea! It would have been better if she had done it with AI. And she does abstract art! Well, is it abstraction or just paint smudges? Abstract art is very difficult and always has a reference, it’s not for beginners…

Sharon Stone made her debut as an artist on March 2nd (2023), and she titled her exhibition «Shedding, a Prelude.» It took place at the Oceanside Hotel, one of the glamorous Hollywood hotels from the 1930s. Interestingly, she only invited her female friends to the exhibition. The showcase featured 17 paintings.

I would remind Miss Stone that art, like acting, is a profession (although both can be pursued as hobbies), and it should be approached with the same seriousness that actors bring to their craft, a craft that I highly respect. I would also suggest Sharon, that you consider attending an academy, enrol, and learn, especially if you plan to focus your attention on abstract art, as it is not merely random paint strokes on a canvas.

And of course, any gallery would be thrilled if she chose it to exhibit, after all, it’s Sharon Stone. The same goes for Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt, and so on. It’s not because their work has artistic merit, it’s because they are famous!

En Israel el pueblo se subleva porque el gobierno los oprime…

En Peru los comunistas tratan de destituir a la mujer que está tratando de salvar al país del atraso y de la ruina…

Lamentablemente en otros países como Brasil, Nicaragua y Venezuela, El mal se ha apoderado del gobierno y el pueblo sufre…

Ganan unos, pierden otros, se hace balance pero el equilibrio social no juzga si los ganas son los buenos o los nefastos…

Pero lo que se les olvida a muchos es que Dios es el que decide, gobierna y juzga, no el hombre…
