JaZzArt en València

Farrokh Bulsara, born, 1946, in Stone Town in the Sultanate of Zanzibar, died on the 24th of November, 1991, at the age of 45 in London… He went by the name Freddy Bulsara and Larry Lurex before officially taking on the surname Mercury. And as Freddy Mercury he conquered the rock world. Without a doubt one of the most iconic voices in rock, Freddy Mercury was also a prolific writer who wrote many of Queen’s big hits. He left us much too soon.

Haremos una breve pausa porque el equipo de Omnia Caelum Studios y de este Valenciartist Blog estará preparando para la próxima apertura de «Atrévete» y luego durante la duración de la exposición. Así que os pedimos disculpas por no estar tan atentos como siempre lo estamos, aunque trataremos de sacar algo todos los días en el blog. Además, estáis todos invitados a pasar…si vivís o estáis en Valencia…por la Sala d’Exposicions de Ciutat Vella en Carrer del Micalet,1, del 12 al 23 de octubre, que será un gran placer saludaros.

Hay una cita (a mi personalmente no me consta, pero…) de Picasso que dice que cuando le preguntaron, «¿Que es el arte?» el maestro respondió que no sabia y que si lo supiera no se lo diría a nadie… Como he dicho, a mi no me consta que Picasso haya dicho esto, pero quizá. Picasso si dijo, y esto está en el libro de Françoise Gillot, que el arte era subterfugio y más o menos eso puede avalar el dicho, no lo se… Pero yo si os voy a contestar a la pregunta. El arte es subterfugio, Picasso tenía razón, pero el arte es la búsqueda. El arte se logra con talento y el talento se pilla buscándolo en la faena, la ardua y pesada faena…

There is a quote (which I personally cannot confirm, but…) attributed to Picasso that says when asked, «What is art?» the master replied that he didn’t know and that if he did, he wouldn’t tell anyone… As I mentioned, I cannot confirm that Picasso actually said this, but perhaps he did. Picasso did say, and this is in Françoise Gillot’s book, that art is subterfuge (cunning), and that more or less supports the saying, I don’t know… But I will answer the question for you. Art is subterfuge, Picasso was right, but art is also the pursuit, the search. Art is achieved with talent, and talent is acquired through diligent and arduous work…

Francisco Bravo Cabrera, también conocido como Bodo Vespaciano, comenzó su vida en el arte en la década de los años 1980 cuando se graduó de la Florida International University en la ciudad de Miami, Florida (EEUU). Primero escribió y produjo obras de teatro, comedias musicales, donde incorporaba su música y sus canciones. A partir del 1996 se dedico a la pintura y al dibujo, desarrollando así su “JaZzArt” y su “Surreal-Expresionismo.” En 2003 inauguró su atelier y sala de exposiciones, Omnia Caelum Studios Miami, en esa ciudad. Sus exposiciones desde 2003: Estambul y Esmirna, en Turquía; Nueva York, Sarasota, Bradenton y Miami, en EEUU; Barcelona, Mallorca y Fuendetodos, en España y Dublín, Irlanda.  Ademas, a través de su galería online sus cuadros cuelgan en muchas colecciones por toda Europa y Estados Unidos. Desde 2019 Omnia Caelum Studios, rebautizado Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia, esta ubicado en Russafa, Valencia.

Francisco Bravo Cabrera, also known as Bodo Vespaciano, began his life in art in the 1980s when he graduated from Florida International University in Miami, Florida (US). His exhibitions since 2003: Istanbul and Izmir, in Turkey; New York, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Miami, in the USA; Barcelona, Mallorca, and Fuendetodos, in Spain, and Dublin, Ireland. In addition, through his online gallery, his paintings hang in many collections throughout Europe and the United States. Since 2019, Omnia Caelum Studios, renamed Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia, is located in Russafa, Valencia.

Ven a la exposición para conocer el verdadero Francisco/Bodo…

Os deseo un sábado feliz colmado de luz, amor y bendiciones… Nosotros en Omnia Caelum Studios València estamos preparando la exposición “Atrévete” que abrirá sus puertas el día 12 de octubre, día de la gran fiesta de la hispanidad. Os espero en la Sala d’Expoaicions de Ciutat Vella, València, Carrer del Micalet, 1.
