Bajo sus alas, bajo sus alas enormes y blancas,
bajo sus alas hay
refugio,
calor,
tranquilidad
y sueño y
bajo estas alas espero y
paso la tempestad.

Llamo, y llamo, y llamo con mi voz que ruge
bajo alas,
protegido,
satisfecho y
me pregunto,
¿Quién me cuida?

Solo estaría entre lobos y zorros,
tontos y necios,
ciegos y brutos
que devoran las almas de los hombres
y mastican la piel de las mujeres,
escupen fuego
y lucen hermosos
en la oscuridad.

La luna es el sol de la noche,
cuya superficie nadie ha pisado
ni nadie pisará,
pues solo ella pone sus pies
sobre ese estrado
cuando las estrellas del cielo
la coronan con luz.

Y yo bajo sus alas, sus alas,
su manto,
sonrió.

1957! Ciertamente un año histórico pues el 6 de julio del mismo se conocieron John Lennon y Paul McCartney y bueno, ya sabéis lo que pasó después… Pero esa no fue la historia que se hizo porque en 1957 ocurrieron varias cosas muy interesantes para la historia de la música y del arte y de la vida… Estoy preparando un vídeo de los acontecimientos de ese año… En 1957 ocurrió algo terrible aquí en mi ciudad (Valencia) que dio lugar a que naciera algo fenomenal, ya lo vais a ver…

1957! Certainly a historic year because on July 6th, John Lennon and Paul McCartney met, and well, you know what happened next… But that wasn’t the only significant story of 1957. Several very interesting things happened that year that affected the history of music, of art, and of life… I’m preparing a video about the events of that year… In 1957, something terrible happened here in my city (Valencia) that led to the birth of something phenomenal, you’ll see…

as only She can places her feet
on such a dais
when the stars of heaven
crown her with light.

I have some questions for all who wish to reply…

1. Does art mix with politics?
2. Should artists get involved with politics?
3. Can art, (not that which is made for political propaganda) influence others politically or socially?
4. If you thought that artists should not get involved with politics, can you tell me who should?
5. If you thought that art does not mix with politics, can you tell me what does mix with politics and what mixes with art?

I look forward to your opinions, and please, always remember that the only thing we proffer is opinions, there are very few facts out there.

* This painting depicts the artist (I thought about doing a portrait of Francisco Goya) in a pensive mood, seemingly floating on the blue waters of a «creative» sea, while the «muse» looks from the side, taking on a rather sinister appearance…
