#music, #art, And This is What We Thought About…

(«JaZzArt»/Francisco Bravo Cabrera/All Rights Reserved)

Well, I reckon we all thought of these things at one time or another… But, thankfully, we grew up… The song was with my band AJA back in 2014, while some of the images are from my trip to Cuba in 2015…

#art, Art History in One Minute, part 7: Pablo Picasso

(«Picassito»/Francisco Bravo Cabrera/All Rights Reserved)

The most famous painter in the world? I think so… But I will focus on some of his work from his early days in Paris, say 1906… I have filled this video with the pictures I took when I visited this exhibition at the Museo Reina Sofia of Madrid in 2024. This is considered Picasso’s Black Period, from 1906-1909.

Even if the world is going crazy…

(Francisco Bravo Cabrera/actor portrayal

So… even if the world is going crazy I have to get my morning nutrition. I imagine you have heard the US has attacked Iran… What? Is their president hoping for, another war? Hasn’t there been enough already? Nobody wants a nuclear powered Iran, but I think Israel could have handled them well enough… What do you think? But, in second thought, maybe the US president is right on this one. I would hate to have to agree with such a man, but «taking care of this situation» of «dealing» with a rogue state that endangers the Middle East and beyond is something that is way overdue…

What do you think?

And to exemplify his genius, I have chosen to share with you the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary concert (full) video. This demonstrates the power, the artistry and the genius of Brian Wilson (R.I.P.).

Although I am a life-long Beatles fan, when I first heard the Beach Boys I could not resist that sound, those harmonies and those cool, kick arse songs!

Hope you like it and hope you tell me if you agree…

Pero también hay guerras necesarias para frenar a tiranos que quieren desarrollar y acumular armas nucleares de destrucción masivas para ser los matones del medio oriente…
