What an interesting reflection! 😊 The word “evolution” is used so often that we sometimes forget to ask what it really means, especially when we apply it to art.
I particularly like the question of whether art truly evolves or simply changes with time—shaped by new ideas, cultures, technologies, and ways of seeing the world. Perhaps a modern artwork isn’t necessarily better than an ancient one; it simply speaks from a different time and through a different sensibility.
