I found the first of these chilling. It brought to mind missiles in their silos. There is so much war in the world.
The spirals found in nature are fascinating. The Fibonacci sequence of numbers where each is the sum of the previous two appears repeatedly, e.g. three petals on a lily or five on a buttercup. No surprise that these should appear in art.
