So true Pat, but there are so many ways the artists throughout the years have portrayed the crucified Christ… very few actually naked as they were when victims of a Roman crucifixion.

I have always been interested in crucifixion paintings, as I feel like they express an artist’s true feelings regarding Christ and religion—among other things as well, as I believe the crucifixion can portray other powerful symbols. I find it fascinating!
