I would suggest you choose your publisher carefully, and be sure you know what marketing your publisher will be doing for you. Also, retain the copyright yourself.
I published two books which are now out of print because my publisher was prosecuted for fraud. The publisher did nothing to publicize the books.
If books are not widely marketed, they fail. Most books fail, in any case. The competition is enormous. Many authors today publicize their work on social media, which can be discouraging and time-consuming. It’s a matter of choice.

If you go with a publisher, make sure you read the contract and understand who owns the rights, everything they will do for you, and what they expect from you. If you go the self-publishing route, there’s IngramSpark, D2D, Lulu, Kindle Direct Publishing, and others. IngramSpark is the top publisher for wide distribution. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Yes, the theme is Jazz-Art. I will include graphics of mine own creation. One book in English and one in Spanish, but not a translation, each one unique.

Wow, that’s a fantastic idea! First, ensure your collection is strong and cohesive. Then you could research publishers that specialise in poetry and those with open submission periods. Then submit your work. Keep in mind that traditional publishing can take time, and rejection is common. Don’t get discouraged; keep refining your work and submitting. My friend’s poetry collection was rejected a dozen times before she got published. Best of luck xx

If you are seeking a traditional publisher, prepare a query letter to one who publishes your type of poetry. If you want to self-publish, spend time researching other books like you want to produce.
