I notice that you don’t include Gustav Klimt. Is that because you think of him as an artist and not a painter? or is it because you just don’t rate him?

Oh no, Klimt is one of my favourite artists but he is not part of the expressionists. I would say his work is more in the symbolist manner or closer to classical and perhaps even with a touch of the surreal. I would rate him as one of the best, up there with Picasso and Kandinsky… Thanks so much Malc and all the best!
