Even if the world is going crazy…

(Francisco Bravo Cabrera/actor portrayal

So… even if the world is going crazy I have to get my morning nutrition. I imagine you have heard the US has attacked Iran… What? Is their president hoping for, another war? Hasn’t there been enough already? Nobody wants a nuclear powered Iran, but I think Israel could have handled them well enough… What do you think? But, in second thought, maybe the US president is right on this one. I would hate to have to agree with such a man, but «taking care of this situation» of «dealing» with a rogue state that endangers the Middle East and beyond is something that is way overdue…

What do you think?

I’m in the U.S. and one thing we’ve learned from our president’s first term and now his 2nd – is that he does WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DO – WHENEVER he wants to do it and feels like he doesn’t need permission from anyone.
I’m trying to keep my head out of the news, and I just pray.

    Great photo btw.
    Have a great day!

Sounds like a maybe a dirty bomb in any number of cities (US, Israel, Europe) might be a way to retaliate. I can’t imagine there being no response from some group or the other.

    1. That is a scary thought indeed. Here they are saying that Iran is probably going to target embassies and diplomats, not necessarily civilians, but who knows… It’s always dangerous stirring up a wasp’s nest and if one does one has to be aware and ready for the consequences. I just don’t think TACO is…

      2. Who knows what will happen, like they say, one knows when one starts a war and how, but no one knows how it will finish…

No one knows the mind of TACO… if he has a mind. I know the Middle East doesn’t need an Iran with a nuclear weapon, but it has always baffled me why the US — the only country to ever use a nuclear bomb — now gets so keep ours while telling other countries they can’t have one of their own. American arrogance! I hated for the US to bomb Iran Saturday night. I think since Natanyahu started this war, he needed to be the one to finish it. If he could not accomplish what he wanted to accomplish in Iran, he shouldn’t have started the war. As an American, I feel absolutely no ownership in this war. And with so many experienced intelligence, State Department, and other federal employees fired since January 20 in the name of «waste and efficiency,» I don’t know how trustworthy our intelligence in Iran is. Trump took Netanyahu’s word over US intelligence, which speaks volumes. Iran is not the backward country some seem to think it is. Americans need to stop thinking the rest of the world is stupid and we are untouchable.

    1. You make some valid points Janet, with which I certainly agree. But an Iran, under the rule of fanatic Ayatollahs with nuclear arms would be a threat to the entire world…

You are correct. A nuclear Iran would be a threat to the entire world. I just don’t like the way Netanyahu dragged the US into this because Trump is clueless and Netanyahu knew it. And today we learn that after all Trump’s bluster, we only set Iran’s nuclear program back a few months. Could there be a worse time in history for Trump to be in the White House and Hegseth to be at The Pentagon? I think not. And no two members of Congress are on the same page.

      2. I agree fully! These days, and these situations require a statesman of high calibre, intelligence and expertise, and TACO has none of that. Now he is messing with us after he decided that Spain should spend 5% on NATO expenses! How dare he decide what a sovereign nation does!
