Insane art is what it is, art done by the insane, some criminally insane, others not so much… But it fed the appetites of the surrealists and many, many more… But remember, the art of the insane is art done by non-artists and definitely not by artists pretending to be insane like some famous ones we all know and love, or not… 😊.

Yes, the book is quite interesting and very important in art history as these drawings and paintings have been the source of inspiration to many great artists of the vanguards of the 20th Century. For sure it inspired the surrealists…
