#music, «Rockstar» as today’s oldie-goldie!

The dream of many, the reality of few, although the «wanna-be’s» are all out there thinking they are rock-stars, or pop-stars more than likely these days… I stick to rock, cannot stand pop, R&B, or K-Pop… The song «Rockstar» was released in 2006. For me it was one of the few «rock» songs of the 21st Century that I actually liked. Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top adds the spoken vocals…

«Rockstar» topped at number 2 in the UK and was certified platinum. The single also sold 4,5 million copies in the US.

Nickelback is a Canadian band that was formed in Alberta in 1995. They are: Chad Kroeger (lead guitar/vocals); Ryan Peake(guitar/keyboard/background vocals); Mike Kroeger (bass) and Daniel Adair on drums. You could say they are a «modern» rock band with grunge, country and a little bit of metal as their «style» although they have also included a touch of rap…

        Thank you, Francesco, for your gracious reply. No doubt you know that Mozart is the only composer whose music synchronizes with the beating of the human heart. Listening to his music makes us feel better.
