No debemos pensar que el arte tiene que ser siempre algo bonito, elegante, decorativo y digno de nuestro salon porque el arte es un dialogo, e igual que los diálogos en la vida real, algunos son agradables otros inquietantes…

Oh yes, it is still art, and quite good I would say. And although I would not hang it on my wall I can admire them online or preferably at a museum. Well Janet, it is a wonderful day here, very spring-like with bright sunlight. The only downer here today is hearing how the Orange Man wants to impose tariffs upon us once again and how negatively that has affected the market. Incredible! But… I hope to enjoy a lovely weekend and do some painting and writing. I hope you have lovely weather too and that you are able to enjoy a great weekend as well. Take good care and all the best.

We can hope the Orange Man will change his mind about the tariffs before they begin on June 1. His commencement «speech» today at West Point was his usual rambling and weaving. To top it off, he wore his red MAGA baseball cap! He is so tacky, but tacky is the least of our concerns in a dictator.

They may provoke nightmares I would suspect. Yes, no, I would not want them on my wall either… But I do admire them in museums… Goya’s is to me the most disturbing of all…
