Nunca pensé que Dios estuviera tan cabreado con nosotros como para romper su alianza y también su promesa de nunca jamás destruirnos. Acordaos lo del arcoíris, símbolo que Dios no arremetería ferozmente contra la tierra nunca más… Pero es que desde un tiempo acá, digamos desde el 2020, solo han habido grandes desgracias, comenzando con la pandemia y terminando con grandes terremotos, riadas, inundaciones y tiranos… Pero, mare meua, que coño está pasando aquí???

I never thought that God would get so angry with us as to break his covenant and also his promise to never again destroy us. Remember the rainbow, the symbol that God would never fiercely attack the earth again… But since, let’s say, 2020, there have only been great misfortunes. The COVID-19 pandemic and on through to major earthquakes, floods, inundations, and tyrants… So what the feck is happening here???

The rainbow is God’s promise to us that he would never flood the earth again, but that doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be destruction. Some of the destruction, if not most of it, is man made I believe. In the end, the earth is going to be destroyed by fire – utterly destroyed – and a new heaven and earth will be established… and the wicked will be put in their place.

It looks to me like Mother Earth is testing us and doing what she does – eliminating the sick, the weak, and the ones who can’t adapt from the herd. But I don’t discount God’s hand in this, either. Maybe he’s just tired of us. As I recall, the next destruction of the human race was supposed to be by fire. Nuclear war may still be on the horizon. But I believe God is a merciful god. If we are never tested or faced with challenges, we never grow. And if COVID developed in a lab, blame humans for that.
