Well, here I am in front of one of my favourite bars in Madrid, Casa Alberto, an establishment that has been around for almost 200 years in the Barrio de las letras of Spain’s capital city.
This is the Calle del Prado, which crosses through the Barrio de las letras on a busy night in Madrid… (well, all nights are busy in Madrid and so are the days, no wonder it is the «New York» of our continent).
And this is a very important (and famous corner) because it marks the start of La Gran Vía. It starts at the Calle de Alcalá and ends in the Plaza de España.

Me gusta tu forma de ver Madrid. Conocí otro Madrid. El Madrid de los 80′ El «MADRID SE MUEVE», ha pasado mucho tiempo por sus plazas, muchos tacones han pisado con garbo sus avenidas. Tal vez los jardines de Marte hayan perdido su esencia hippy pero has captado este Madrid 2025

I love Madrid. Wandering around the city and admiring the beautiful buildings is apart of the magic and charm of the city. Everywhere you look, from Plaza de Mayor to Gran Vía and the Torre de Madrid, the city is a colourful tour de force of absolute elegance that is a joy to experience.
