Para mí, el arte sirve para expresar y sí que puedes ser artista sin saber dibujo ni pintura, por ejemplo con la fotografía. Aunque es muy difícil ser artista sin haber estudiado antes algo de arte.
Finalmente, para mi el arte objetivo no existe, o si lo hay no es arte.

Muchas gracias a ti Abel. Muy buenas observaciones. Y claro que no hablo solo de los artistas plásticos. El artista es el poeta, el bailarín, el cantante, el coreógrafo, el compositor, el dramaturgo, el actor y por supuesto el fotógrafo. Pero aunque estoy de acuerdo contigo en ciertas cosas, para mi el arte es solo y siempre cosa objetiva porque si no se ve, si no es un objeto, aunque fuese uno que pasa y deja solo recuerdos, como una obra de teatro, si no se comparte, no tiene validez artística. El arte se hace para compartirla. Un abrazo desde España.

Ah, no lo había visto así antes, me refiero a subjetivo en que es una expresión personal, con la carga subjetiva del artista. Estoy de acuerdo con que si no se comparte no es arte.

1. Art is a form of communication.
2. I believe an artist (communicator) needs to be trained. Whether it be a dancer, musician, sculptor, painter……. They need to learn the skills required.
3. Art is objective…the artist is objective. The viewer, however, can be both objective and subjective, depending on what they bring to the art piece being presented.

1) El arte es inútil por definición. Cualquier intento de volverlo “utilitario” oblitera su función. En mi opinión es su contexto, en perspectiva, lo que nos muestra su alcance real.
2) Incluso para prescindir de la técnica hay que conocerla antes. Es verdad que el arte (si por arte estás sólo entendiendo las artes plásticas) ha cambiado radicalmente desde la fotografía y la preocupación principal no es la representar el mundo como es, si no de interpretarlo… y sin embargo creo firmemente que la formación académica del artista, es fundamental en cualquier disciplina.
3) Las artes plásticas antes de la fotografía no son subjetivas, después si. La tecnología en el arte lo condiciona.

Para mi el arte es pura expresión, tanto si tienen técnica o no.
De vegades la tècnica pot ofegar la creativitat, però quan es domina.., és com l’escriure, es poden fer meravelles.
Aleshores, queda el dubte de si es queda només en artesania.
