Venga, ¡Pero menuda tomadura de pelo! Así que este «artista conceptual», Salvatore Garau, dice que es un escultor y que sus esculturas son invisibles. Sí, no me he equivocado, he escrito que sus esculturas son invisibles y estan en los museos y se venden, o sea, alguien se las compra y el les da un certificado de autenticidad… Vamos que si esto no es la tomadura de pelo más brutal del siglo…del Siglo XXI y el S. XX…no se que será. Pero ¿Quizá no pueda ser esto una manera, muy «artística», de blanquear dinero? No lo sé. Pero sí sé que de arte esta tentoria no tiene nada. Tío, tu de artista tienes lo que tengo yo de neurocirujano.
Esta es una escultura de Garau, titulada «Io sono» (Yo soy). ¿No la ves? Madre mía, no tienes imaginación artística Es invisible, claro, o inmaterial como le dicen los galeristas y curadores que se prestan a este juego estúpido de tomarle el pelo a la gente. Y te digo más, la «obra inmaterial» se vendió por 15.000 euracos. ¿Qué te parece?
Bueno compañeros, ahí lo dejo porque de este «artista» no voy a hablar más…

Do you actually remember how in 1985 Andy Warhol created The Invisible Sculpture via performance art at the famed, New York downtown nightclub Area. The concept of his Invisible Sculpture was to show that the absence of something could be art. One thing is to ‘create’ an invisible art other is to pay for it. I mean, who in the right mind would do it!

No, Aiva, I do not recall that. Not being a fan, or amused at all by Warhol, I never paid much attention to his schemes to gain fame and money. To me, if you have to go into a detailed and lengthy dissertation about a work of art, it is signalling that you are trying to fool people, and Warhol was a master at that. And no, I do not share the thought that the absence of something could be art. The absence of something is nothing and art is, and must be, something tangible, observable and objective. That is why I am not into, at all, conceptual art. Thank you Aiva. All the best.
