Ok so I grew up in the seventies and this was one kick arse group! Hit after hit, all dance tunes and groovy… THIS IS KOOL AND THE GANG!
They came together in Jersey City in 1964… The group was put together by Robert «Kool» Bell and Ronald Bell. They have had many members along the years, but they have all been pretty cool… Between 1973 and 1978 they ruled the «Jazz-Funk» world… «Lady’s Night» sold more than one million copies in the US. Then came «Celebration» (1980); «Get Down On It» (1981); «Cherish«… «Celebration«, which sold more than two million copies in the US, became the official welcome home song to receive the US hostages held in Iran.
