Greetings folks! Hope y’all are having a smashing good summer! Now I know many of you are on holiday or thinking about it, and I am too, for sure, but work, what we call in Spain «faena» never really stops, does it? Well, maybe for you…
In any event I’ve some questions for you:
I have fully expressed who are my favourite painters, musicians and dancers, as well as my favourite album, my favourite movie, my favourite food and favourite drink. If you do not recall, or know what these things are, I will tell you…
- Picasso is my favourite painter, heads and shoulders above the rest.
- The Beatles are my favourite, superior to all the rest.
- Nureyev over the others is my favourite dancer.
- Revolver by The Beatles is my favourite album.
- Mary Poppins is my fave pic.
- Grilled Yellowtail is my favourite food (with tostones…do you know what tostones are? No? Ask a Cuban from Miami. 😁)
- Wine is my favourite drink (besides water, naturally)

Artist: Salvatore Dali, Band: Rush, Dancer: Gene Kelly, Favorite album: Toss up between Phantasmagoria by The Damned or Golden age of wireless by Thomas Dolby. Movie: Raiders of the Lost ark. Food: Nothing specific. I like all kinds of food, but they tend to revolve around simple pleasures like a warm cinnamon doughnut and apple cider, or popcorn and wine. I’m more about food combinations 😉 Drink: Irish whiskey – current favorite is Jameson Black Barrel. It’s nice and smoky.

Thanks. Great choices. Love the band Rush, Gene Kelly (also Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers), the bands I do not know. The movie I like too and I only drink Irish whiskey, especially Bushmills. Cheers mate and all the best.

Bushmills is what got me started on liking whiskey. For many years, I denounced all brown liquor as evil 😂

Yup, me too, I never drank it until a few years ago that a friend turned me on to Jameson and I liked it, then tried Bushmills and I stayed with that one. Although I still prefer simply a good wine.

Oceans, mountains, sunrise/sunset, spring and fall, wine, chocolate, end of football season, books, dogs over people

Nice list Pat! I too like mountains and oceans and sunsets/sunrise, I love the start of football season (just started yesterday), books, cats, not dogs too much but yes, I like them over many, many people. Thanks! Wine time coming in about one hour! It is hard to find good and affordable white wine here in Turkey, but I found some Cabernet Sauvignon blanc from Moldova, I’ll tell you if I like it. All the best.

My list of favorite is very short. A good cup of coffee. Potatoes done any way shape or form. I do not have a favorite movie…just action adventure themed stories.
My favorite painter you may not have heard of the Group of Seven in Canada (where I am) but Lawren Harris is one of those seven. I have always enjoyed and been inspired by his paintings.
