#art, As I Am Painting this Summer (2024)

Durante el verano a la gente le gusta escapar de la ciudad, de la rutina y del calor y darse un buen chapuzón en el Mediterráneo y disfrutar de unas bien merecidas vacaciones. Y yo de acuerdo al ciento por ciento, pero…como soy adicto a la faena…no puedo quedarme con los brazos cruzados debajo de una palmera cogiendo fresco y bebiendo cerveza, tengo que currar. Un artista nunca descansa, vale? Entonces desde que estoy por estos lares donde suelo pasar los veranos, he estado currando. Os muestro lo que he pintado hasta ahora, durante julio (2024).

Summertime, for most is the time to get away, to enjoy a nice holiday away from the usual routine. I agree. I would not miss a summer getaway for anything as long as I can, God willing. But, as a workaholic, I cannot just sit leisurely by being caressed by the gentle breezes from the Mediterranean or the Aegean Sea and do nothing. So this summer (2024) was no exception. Here is what I have done so far…

    You’ve been busy my friend. The donkey reminds me of Buddy, while Einstein silhouette against the sea reminds me of Jimmy Buffet song that Einstein Was a Surfer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SBMGz4VAQg

      A cool song by the great Jimmy Buffet (gone too soon! «We hardly knew you Jimmy!») Not especially busy, just my regular routine. I will go sailing later in September a bit further south on the Aegean, so now is the time to work. All the best Pat.

    The paintings are stunning. I in particular love the Albert Einstein interpretation in the digital art (if I am not mistaken).
