Perpetual motion in black and white scenes that glow in the dark,
continue to flow towards puzzles and dreams that end in the dark,
and rivers and streets guide lonely hearts seemingly towards a straight path,
that tumbles and falls,
bounces and rolls,
fades in the light,
erases itself
as your footsteps
lead you towards
the tower
afar,
towards your
neighbourhood
bar…

many of my days in Europe ended at the bar. But the path of life is truly never a straightforward one.

One’s neighbourhood bar is of the utmost importance in Spain. That is where you have your morning coffee, your lunch perhaps and your afternoon gin tonics, not to mention your pre-supper wine. The bar is a national necessity. Thank you my friend and all the best!

It is the hub of most communities.

Absolutely. The concept of the bar in Spain is totally different than in the US. A bar here is a family establishment for eating as well as for a few drinks or wine with food. There are other bars only for cocktails and drinks too, but those have a different designation. All the best my friend and a Happy Weekend to you!

That is true..the vibe in a European pub or bar is vastly different from what I’ve experienced since coming to the US.
