¡Sí soy un artista!
Entonces a crear. Si eres artista/pintor entonces pinta, pinta y pinta más y más ad infinitum. Pinta cuando te levantes, pinta todo el día y vuelve a pintar antes de acostarte y el próximo día lo mismo. Llegarás a transformarte en un artista. Y no pienses que ahí se acabó, de eso nada monada, porque el artista tiene que reivindicarse con cada obra, no es un titulo honoris causa in perpetuum.

The first question you must ask yourself is:
Am I an artist?
Answer it:
I think so…
Well, what I mean is that I want to…
Yes, yes, I am an artist.
So now forget about everything else and create. If you are an artist/painter then paint, paint, and paint some more and a lot more. Paint when you wake up. Paint all day. And before going to bed, paint. The next day repeat the same thing, ad nauseam. You will eventually become an artist. And don’t think that’s the end of it, not at all, because the artist has to revindicate himself with each work, it’s not an honorary title in perpetuity.
So get to work!

This is such a wonderful and encouraging post, Francisco. Every artist’s creative path and career is different: there’s not a series of strict rules that one must follow in order to achieve a successful career in arts.
