Absolutely! There is no right to kill indiscriminately and when guns are so ready available that becomes a frightful reality. I am not against gun ownership, but to get a gun should be much more difficult than to get a driving permit!
I agree, and the mental health system in the USA is a complete disaster. Plus, the FBI and other agencies seem to always have first-hand knowledge of these people and do nothing.
We will always disagree on this, so I will only say this: when you look at the individual cases of mass shootings, there has almost always been a mental health component, people and agencies who knew the person could pose a danger and did nothing, and a political attempt to blame the Second Amendment afterward. I’m talking about mass shootings – not ordinary, everyday crime. And no matter how many laws you pass, ordinary criminals will always find a way to get guns. Criminal organizations make money off of selling drugs and guns.
