For me there is no doubt, Freddy Mercury was the best frontman of rock… He was a prolific songwriter and musician and his tenor voice set him apart from the hoards of singers out there fronting great bands, mediocre ones and bad ones… But there was no one like Freddy. He loved life, secrecy, his intimacy and privacy… He said too much love can kill you…
Here is one of his final songs, «The Miracle.» Released in 1989 in the album of the same name. It was Queen’s last hit of the 1980’s and the song was written by the four lads, although Freddy and John Deacon were the main contributors to the song. «The one thing we’ve been waiting for is peace on earth and an end to war…»
