Thank you! I very much appreciate your visit and your comparison. However, neither Picasso nor me paint in abstract. My style tends to lean more towards the expressionists with a tinge of surrealism and I have called it «Surreal-Expressionism» and as well «JaZzArt.» Any painting/sculpture that has recognisable elements, no matter how distorted they may be, is figurative. Abstract art contains no recognisable elements at all nor anything that resembles things of our natural world. That is the principal, and only distinction between the two forms of art. All the best.
I know abstract didn’t start Picasso but Cubism was a key invention precipitating factor in the development of abstract art. All artists are storytellers. Each one has something to say about their work.Like me or you. I appreciate everyone’s art. Looking forward for more of your amazing art’s.
I thank you very much and appreciate your visit and comments. Yes, artists do have a story to tell, but Kandinsky, the developer/inventor of abstract art rejected cubism and considered Picasso to be a talent-less fool. Cubism did end but abstract art is still doing quite well. For me both Picasso and Kandinsky are sources of great inspiration, not only visual but also spiritual and philosophical. Both great masters of the 20th Century. All the best. Greetings from Spain.

Notably, your working style reminds me of Picasso abstract painting. Very appealing.
