You’ve laid out your thoughts well. Religions and various forms of government have been tried, rejected, and tried again through numerous cycles of the ages. I have heard names thrown around as they suit the purpose. Subjects, citizens, friend, comrade have all served as useful catch phrases.
True Pat, they employ useful catch phrases… but the lies, manipulation and control are all the same… Now we have come upon a time guided by the misguide principle of «political correctness» and a new form of puritanism has resurfaced where everything you write or post to social media (for example, after all everyone’s on it, it has become the conversation of the XXI Century) has to pass through algorithms and be «Instagram-clean!»
Voltaire may have said it best. I may not agree with what you say but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it. But now we have.trolls and AI that deliberately pass lies, misinformation, and pretend to be from a legitimate source.
