#music, Let us Celebrate the Life of Jimmy Buffet!

He left us too soon, much too soon and we’ll miss him, but of all people, I think Jimmy would like all his fans to celebrate his life, perhaps with a cold Margarita, than to just feel sad and sorry he passed. Rest in peace Jimmy* in that Margaritaville up in the sky where it’s five o’clock always! Cheers!

So to start this week’s «Musical Thursday the Middle of the Week» I bring to you one of my favourite Jimmy Buffet songs, not one of his most popular, but I love the music and the message of this tune…

    Thank you. Two of his songs I love and play over and over are «A Pirate Looks at Forty» and «In the Shelter» – superb lyrics and unforgettable melodies.
