#art, lA No hace arte – AI Does Not Make Art

Para mi el arte es la búsqueda, pero no una búsqueda en vano, sino una búsqueda donde se encuentra lo buscado y quizá hasta más. Yo defino el arte como algo que solo lo pueden realizar…de forma buena…los humanos. No importa ni la creatividad de cada quien ni tampoco la imaginación ni la originalidad. Esos no son factores decisivos para hacer arte buena. El talento si, pero el talento es algo que se desarrolla con la faena. Mientras más te lo curres, mejor te va a quedar y más talento demostrarás. La creatividad la tenemos todos, igual que la imaginación y a mi me va que la originalidad está muy sobrevalorada. Pero os digo con toda certeza, la IA no hace arte. No os dejéis confundir con lo que dicen por los blogs etcétera porque están escritos por programas de IA que tienden a saber defenderse y engañar.

Venga, lo que os puedo ofrecer, aquí en Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia, es arte, color, poemas y música. La razón por la cual digo que IA no hace arte es porque la IA es…y siempre debe permanecer…una herramienta y las herramientas no construyen sino ayudan a hacerlo siempre sostenidas en las manos de operarios humanos.

For me, art is the pursuit, but not a futile pursuit, rather a pursuit where what is sought is found and perhaps even more. I define art…good art…as something that only humans can do… well. It doesn’t matter how creative or imaginative someone is, or even how original. Those are not decisive factors for creating good art. Talent, however, is a different story, but talent is something that is developed through hard work. The more you work on it, the better it will turn out and the more talent you will demonstrate. We all have creativity, imagination, and in my opinion, originality is overrated. But I can say with certainty that AI does not make art. Don’t be fooled by what you read on blogs, etc., as they are written by AI programs that tend to know how to defend themselves and deceive.

What I can offer you here at Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia is good, human-made art, poetry and music. And the reason I say that AI does not make art is because AI is…and should always remain…a tool and tools do not make anything, they only help the humans using them…
