Esta canción la escribí poco antes de visitar Cuba por primera vez y cuando regresé hice el vídeo con algunas fotos de la isla. Las demás fotos son de Nueva Orleans y los cuadros son originales míos de la serie «Carnaval» que hice allá por el 2008…
Se dice que las revoluciones las hacen los pocos para el beneficio de los muchos. Pero dicen tantas sandeces por ahí que uno se tiene que preguntar, ¿Por qué hablarán los que no saben? Las revoluciones son una farsa y un camino al totalitarismo y a las tiranías si no dan el próximo paso: la evolución. Y así es como progresa el pueblo. El pueblo no progresa con uno que dice que es «progresista» sino con uno que sepa pensar y que actué en pro del pueblo. Las ideologías no importan, solo los hechos cuentan.

I wrote this song shortly before my first visit to Cuba, and when I returned, I made the video with some photos of the island. The rest of the photos are from New Orleans, and the paintings are my original creations from the «Carnival» series that I made there around 2008…
It is said that revolutions are made by a few for the benefit of many. But they say so much nonsense out there that one has to wonder, why do the ignorant speak? Revolutions are a farce and a path to totalitarianism and to tyranny if they do not take the next step: evolution. And that is how the people progress. The people do not progress with someone who claims to be «progressive», but with someone who can think and act in favor of the people. Ideologies do not matter, only actions count.

el problema radico, en que se puso la utopía por encima del ser humano…sin entender que la utopía no existe, es lo que nos impulsa a mejorar nuestra realidad sin olvidarnos de nuestra humanidad, ya lo dijo uun tal Jesús ( y así le fue…) : No es el hombre para el sábado sino todo lo contrario…

Al fin y al cabo una revolución (mecánicamente hablando) no es ni más ni menos que un giro de 360º sobre un eje. Por tanto en una revolución se parte de un punto para volver al mismo punto, una vez se ha completado el giro. Tampoco se puede esperar nada diferente a esto.
