THE WATER IS A MIRROR FOR THE MOON

I rub the night away and see the sky,
Return to yellow, blue and red,
The sun, with all the power rising high
Pointing to distant roads where I have tread.
The water is a mirror for the moon,
the moon designs the road where you have lead,
where flowers bloom where dry leaves lingered so,
and die instead…
I look beyond the windows of my soul,
And sing…
I lie asleep while feeling warm the sun,
With eyes closed tightly…
I sing as clouds swallow my tears as rain
to let it fall on oceans…
