#poem, «Where Memories Still Play» (Euro-Ku)

I was the most audacious and mischievous little grain of sand on the beach beneath the cliffs, on the shore where rocks fragmented, broke and the waves of endless oceans roared.

And in the garden, where dreamers sat and ate green olives under the olive trees so filled with olives, in Sevilla, in the shadows, I became one with the swallows

that flew by, uncaring, laughing, dreaming things unknown to us, carrying sand from beach to mountain, from valleys green to cities grey to playgrounds where our memories still play upon a never ending ocean in the brilliance of the moon…
