Olvidada a través de mucha de la historia del arte, claro, por ser una mujer artista. Ahora ha vuelto a ser conocida y reconocida por su trabajo, pero no como se merece. Hay que darle el merecido reconocimiento a las tantas mujeres artistas de todas las épocas. Para eso también estoy presente. El feminismo no es pararse en una tribuna a acusar y a menospreciar a los hombres, sino que es destacar a la mujer como es debido. La igualdad es eso, no es imponer, sino reclamar y si tienes la oportunidad, no importa en que medio sea, destaca a una mujer artista que por muy conocidas que algunas sean, no tienen el mismo lugar que los hombres ni sus cuadros son cotizados de igual manera.

She was forgotten through most of Art History, of course because she was a woman artist. Now she has regained some of the recognition that had previously been denied but not as much as she truly deserves. And she, as well as so many other women artists throughout the different eras of history, must be duly recognised. Feminism does not mean standing in front of an audience to accuse men or belittle masculinity. It is the process of enhancing the work of women and the work done by women. That is what equality is. It is not imposing one gender upon another one but it is claiming and demanding al equal playing field. If you have a means to reach out, no matter what it is, you can help by promoting, by informing about women artists. Although some are now well known, they are still not equal to their male counterparts and their paintings do not generate the same amount of value.
