El surrealismo…

Los «expertos» han dicho que el surrealismo en el arte o la pintura, se ve en aquellos cuadros que presentan escenas que parecen tomadas de los sueños y que incluyen mucha simbología, donde las partes no siguen una lógica y suelen encontrarse cosas inesperadas. Las composiciones suelen ser bizarras y se acumulan objetos disimilares para darle a la composición un aire de espontaneidad. Quizá hasta incluyan figuras distorsionados y otras puramente inventadas, o sea, la iconografía particular del artista…

Pero yo digo que el surrealismo es todo lo que va más allá de lo establecido y aceptado como la «realidad»…

El expresionismo…

Segun el Oxford Languages, el expresionismo es una forma de pintar o un estilo, que se puede realizar también en la música o en el teatro, en el cual el autor o el artista busca expresar su…o el…mundo interior compuesto de emociones, en lugar de la realidad externa.

Pero yo digo que el expresionismo es la expresión de la realidad que ocurre fuera de la posibilidad de la interpretación clara y diáfana que nos dan los ojos y que la mente interpreta. Es el movimiento y la intención de las partes o figuras que componen el cuadro. Es la vida interna la que se le muestra al observador, no solo de los elementos pero también del ambiente creado en la composición.

El surreal-expresionismo…

La combinación, o las combinaciones que se pueden lograr uniendo el surrealismo con el expresionismo y claro como este estilo lo he inventado yo, entonces tengo que añadirle un toque de Jazz, o sea, espontaneidad, ritmo e improvisación…

Surrealism

The «experts» have said that surrealism…in art…is seen in those paintings that present scenes that appear to be taken out of dreams and which include much symbology. Art that depicts compositions without logic where one finds things unexpected. The paintings might seem bizarre where dissimilar objects appear to provide for the painting’s spontaneity. You might even find distorted figures or other creatures invented by the artist perhaps becoming part of his iconography…

But I say that surrealism is and can be anything that goes beyond what is recognised and established as being «real».

Expressionism

According to Oxford Languages, expressionism is a form or style of painting or of music or drama in the which the author or artist seeks to represent his…or the…internal world of emotions instead of external reality.

But I say expressionism is the «expression» of the reality that occurs away from the neat and clear images that our eyes proffer us and that our mind interprets. It is the movement and intention of the figures in the room and that now populate the canvas. It is the internal and unseen life that is shown to the spectator, not only of the elements that compose the composition but of the atmosphere created in the painting.

Surreal-Expressionism

Surreal-Expressionism is the combination, or the possible combinations that can be achieved when surrealism and expressionism are united artistically. Naturally, since this is my creation I have also added a touch of Jazz to the mix, giving it spontaneity, rhythm and improvisation.
