This fine art print is of my image «Towards Fantasy» printed on metal. But Fine Art America can have the image printed on artists paper, canvas, wood, or have it framed or made into a poster or somethings else… I have authorised several images to be made into fine art prints through Fine Art America and this is my virtual gallery which you can visit (and visit often because I edit it often and replace images). This company handles everything from the sale to the delivery and I know from lovers of art which have purchased, that the quality is excellent and the delivery is fast.
The image is of the old boardwalk that existed in Miami Beach, Florida. It went for several kilometres alongside the dunes of the beach. Sadly the City of Miami Beach allowed the structure to deteriorate to the point that it had to be torn down and replaced with the beach-walk, a cement path along the same route of the old boardwalk. It is very nice, but not the same thing.

Si, es una lastima, pero peor es todo lo que han hecho para transformar el paraíso que fue Miami Beach (en la década de los 90) en un lugar solo para los ultra-ricos donde los comercios son todos de las grandes corporaciones y la playa, lo que es la arena, la usan para partidos de polo y para fashion shows de alto standing donde la gente no puede ir y donde hay que pagar una pasta para entrar. Han convertido la ciudad en un antro de los Nouveau Riche y han prácticamente obligado a los demás a que nos fuéramos porque ya no podíamos costearnos la vida allí. Un saludo.

Mal asunto cuando se acotan los lugares en función de las posibilidades económicas de sus usuarios. Triste e injusto.

Así es, y así se han cogido Miami Beach, que en la década de los 70 y 80 era mas bien un barrio obrero, claro, no la parte donde estaban los grandes hoteles frente al mar…

No, I was there for most of the spring and the month of June, I returned to Europe and here I am. I have to really think twice (or thrice) before venturing on a 10 hour flight! I am glad you could read the Spanish Pat, that is great! I try to keep the translations as equal as possible…
