Pinto porque me sale de los cojones, nada mas, ahi no hay misterio. Igual dibujo, toco la guitarra, el bajo o el piano. Compongo lo que me gusta, que es el Jazz y no diré Jazz abstracto porque toda la música es abstracta y no me van las redundancias…
¿Que si escribo? Si coño, claro que escribo y no vayáis a pensar que lo que escribo es autobiográfico porque no lo es. Tengo un diploma de una universidad abalando que he sufrido incontables cursos y a través de ellos he aprendido que el arte no se basa en la honestidad, sino en la mentira, el artificio, la artimaña y la habilidad de pasar gato por liebre…
Soy un cabrón si, no me molesta esa designación quizá indecorosa, pero es que en la vida o eres listo o serás siempre un pringao… Para llegar a ser artista me propuse pasar por muchas otras cosas, no solo la facultad de Bellas Artes y de Psicología (si, estudie psicología)… He andado selvas y mares… Me han rozado rosas y balas, caricias y bofetones, pero aquí estoy admirando todo lo que me rodea y que carajo, amando a todos los que quieran sentarse y beberse una copa conmigo…

Burning the midnight oil here in NC, or rather the 1:30 a.m. oil. Wanted to check in with you because I’ve been incognito for the last week. I’m happy to tell you that the last week was a bit of a whirlwind, but I finished my local history book, Harrisburg, Did You Know? Cabarrus History, Book 1, on Monday and sent the e-book and paperback manuscripts and covers I created on BookBrush.com to Amazon for publication! The ebook went live on Monday evening and the paperback went live on Tuesday afternoon. All the congratulatory comments I’ve received on Facebook have made my head swell. The technology end of it has fried my brain. But what a relief and sense of accomplishment to have self-published a real book. Counting the index (in the paperback only, of course) and the introduction, the total page count for the paperback is 504!
I’ve missed seeing your posts these past days, but maybe life will return to somewhat normal soon and I can get back to enjoying the blogs I like to follow.

Thank you, Francis! Until I can hold the physical book in my hands, it won’t seem real. I have the electronic version, but there’s just something special about holding a printed book in one’s hands. Actually, next on the list is Book 2, since I couldn’t get all the articles in one book. I’ve formatted the first 40,000 words and proofread the first 31,000. Thank you for always encouraging me to keep writing! Janet
