Wow, what a commitment to the «struggle»! Aren’t they risking their bloody lives?
Of course, that glue that they are using, isn’t it made, somehow, with a derivative of oil?
Good grief! What a risk it is to enter a museum with a can of soup and then pour it over a work of art protected with a glass!
Asinine behaviour, nothing more!
What does art have to do with the supposed struggle against oil or a struggle against anything else that these anti-establishment folk say they stand for?

El arte no es parte del arsenal disponible para luchar contra las cosas negativas e inmundas que nos rodean…
Art is not part of the arsenal of things available for the struggle against the negative and harmful things that surround us…
Gracias…
Cheers…
All it will achieve is more restrictions for people to enjoy visitng places like this.

True, and people will have to go through more controls and checks… At first I wondered if the museums themselves had anything to do with it, I mean as a propaganda ploy… but now I realise it is just generalised stupidity. Cheers Malc and all the best.

This is just one of several anarchy groups operating in and around London at the moment F. Just Stop Oil is being funded by Aileen Getty, the grandaughter of the oil tycoon JP Getty in case you didn’t realise.

Yes, I did read that. There was just an incident in Barcelona as well…

I was pissed when I read about this! These kinds of actions turn people against activists. And the Getty descendants aren’t such great people themselves.

Absolutely! This has nothing to do with anything other than free, social-media type, publicity for kids with nothing to do and who now think they can take the tik tok fantasy to real life. Or a publicity stunt by museums to increase visitors? No, I don’t really think so…

Lo suscribo por entero.

Eso! Gracias! Un saludo.

Truly misdirected anger with the oil industry, but they got the publicity they wanted. I couldn’t help but notice that one of them doesn’t mind using chemical products to dye her hair pink.

That is right, and I bet they either drove their car or took a taxi to the museum and of course, they use their mobile phones…

Exactamente Manuel. Gente que ya se imaginan que la vida es Instagram o Tik-Tok y buscan «likes».

The actions don’t mesh with the problem or the target. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

Dumb describes their actions perfectly!

Violence and vandalism will never rally me to a cause. This is a childish attempt to be seen and heard. Their parents must be so proud.

Yes, I imagine that their parents are proud, after all they are doing what they have been taught, and what has been taught to them is that you do things so you can get likes on social media, who cares about the cause. I don’t see them with the same commitment and dedication as the Iranian women and youth fighting one of the most brutal and repressive regimes on Earth! Good points my friend and thank you.
