I don’t like this one. The glorification of pain. No thanks. I pass.

Yes, to appreciate, learn and positively criticize. How are you going to know what to paint?

      2. How do you know what to paint? That depends on the artist that you are, what your taste is, what you would like to illustrate, communicate, like…

That’s how straight people see gay people, buy I don’t see myself like that. God promises heaven, a boring place full of boring people, and you have to die for that. Dud get of the cross and go have fun.

    1. The reason why the images of Saint Sebastian has become a «gay» icon is not for philosophical or religious reasons, but because he seems to exemplify male beauty.

While being tortured? That’s not the image I want to portray. I am not a victim.

      2. I think it portrays the victimisation that gays have suffered throughout the years prior to our time…

      5. Good analogy. But I go much more with the power of the imagery than the «hidden» message or the arcane within the many paintings of Saint Sebastian, which we know that, for example, El Greco, who painted various versions, painted Saint Sebastian because he liked the male body, he was attracted. I don’t think there was anything esoteric (ref Tarot) about it….

Sometimes people think that just because one is nice, one is simple-minded. I have the vocabulary to be mean, and I’ve never negatively criticized your work. Next time listen, and we both learn while having a better time. Cheers!

    1. When have I not been nice to you or anyone? I am not here to offend or to be «mean» to anyone. I am here to share my art, the art of others and other things that I consider beautiful. So I do not have to listen to anyone because I have not done anyone wrong. We all have our styles of talking, writing and expressing one’s self, so bear that in mind. And yes, we all deserve to have a good time and learn. I never stop learning.
