Venga, pues una vez mas estoy…de visita…en Miami, donde comenzó mi carrera artística en 1998. En Miami comencé a pintar y en el 2000 abrí mi atelier/galería, Omnia Caelum Studios Miami y aquí viví y pinte muchos cuadros hasta que en 2018 decidí regresar a casa, València, España. Pero feliz estoy de haber regresado y me pasare un tiempillo que me dará tiempo para pintar algunos cuadros. Además estoy disfrutando del calorcito tropical de la Florida ya que para mi, el verano ha llegado en el mes de abril…
Well, I am once more…only for a visit…at the place where my art career began back in 1998. In 2000 I opened Omnia Caelum Studios Miami and it was where I lived and painted…and often travelled away from…until 2018 when I relocated to my place of origins, València, Spain. So I am happy to be here and I will be here long enough to paint and to enjoy the warm weather. I am also happy that for me summer came in April…
Aquí os muestro dos cuadros que he guardado en mi casa de Miami y que jamás he expuesto ni jamás se los he ofrecido a los coleccionistas.
Here are some of the paintings from the years before 2005 that I had kept in my place here in Miami. These paintings I have never exhibited and never offered to collectors.
Gisela Tabú lo he pintado en el 1998, en acuarela sobre cartulina y mide 50 x 90 cm. Gisela fue un personaje de una obra que escribí y que se puso en Miami en 1993. Monse (la inspiración de Monse Jazz) fue la actriz que hizo el papel de Gisela en la obra, así que los dos cuadros están bien relacionados…
En el 2021 pinté la segunda de la serie de Gisela, Gisela Tabú II y ya le pertenece a un coleccionista francés. En 2022 pinté la tercera Gisela, Gisela Tabú III y ese cuadro lo tengo en España, esperando que un coleccionista se lo lleve. Gisela Tabú I painted in 1998 in watercolours on cardboard. It measures 50 x 90 cm and it reflects a character, Gisela, from a play, «Alas», that I wrote in 1993 and Monse Jazz is tied to Gisela Tabú because Gisela is Monse, and Monse is Gisela…
(I’ve continued the series and in 2021 I painted Gisela Tabú II (which is in a private collection in France) and in 2022 I painted Gisela Tabú III (which is in Spain awaiting a new home with a collector). Both of these paintings you can see in my Instagram: @Francisco_Bravo_Cabrera or @Guloshka.

How wonderful to be where it all started. I love the photograph. It must feel kind of amazing looking back and seeing how successful you have become. Both of these pieces are incredibly beautiful. Gracias Manuel, una de las ventajas de venir a Miami es que tengo muchos amigos y familia aquí y no los había visto en más de tres años y también que me le adelante al verano, pues en València estaba la temperatura a 9 grados y aquí a 33! Mil gracias Manuel y un abrazo.

Si, como el día y la noche. He vivido en ambas, prefiero Miami Beach, pero es una ciudad muy corrupta donde tiran a mierda a los residentes permanentes y solo les preocupan los turistas. Muy bonito todo si vienes de visita, un puñetero infierno si allí vives. Por eso estaba loco por irme. Un saludo
