Art History: (Featured Artist) Lucian Freud

(2006)

I have to say that if you are into art, meaning if you are a collector, a student or simply someone that likes to go to museums and admire the art collections, then you have to really get to know Lucian Freud. This artist, grandson of Sigmund Freud, is considered by many, including myself, as one of the greatest portrait painters in the history of art. His work is technically sound, expertly crafted and psychological in insight. This latter aspect might just be the influence of his grandfather, the creator of psychoanalysis…

«Orange Jazz» as a Fine Art Print…

(«Orange Jazz» by FBC, image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia, All Rights Reserved)

This painting, originally done in acrylics on canvas is real early jazz art. I have kept this one in my collection in Spain for many years. Now I have decided to turn it into Art Digital and then offer it as a fine art print through Fine Art America.

Here are some others that may, or may not, become prints…

«Red Flower Bright» a New Print I’ve chosen…

(«Red Flower Bright» by FBC, image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. All Rights Reserved)

This painting has always been one of my favourites, actually I have kept it for my own collection (I painted it in 2007). Now I have changed it a bit, turned it into «Art Digital» and have decided to offer it as a special fine art print. This one, along with others, is available through Fine Art America.

Here are some more that may become available…

(«Four Faces» by FBC. Image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. All Rights Reserved)

This is one of my surreal-expressionist canvases now available as a fine art print through Fine Art America, a new route I am experimenting with to promote the sale of my artwork (some only) that I choose to allow to be made into prints. I invite you to my collection by clicking here.

And, as I have been doing, I leave you with this short video clip of some of my earlier works:

Originals…some select ones…Turned to Prints

(Orange Pants Jazz, by FBC, Image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. All Rights Reserved)

As you might know, if you follow this blog, I have been posting some of the drawings (graphite and ink on Canson paper) that I have made and now I have allowed to be made into prints. This one is from the proto-Jazz-Art series back from 2015.

I decided to make this one, along with select others, available as prints and as well placed on other pretty cool objects, through Pixels, and you can access them here and check them out.

Hope you like them. I leave you with a short clip of some of my other artwork:

Poem: “Footsteps in the Clouds” (Euro-Ku)

(“Rainbow Over Miami”, photograph by FBC. Image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios València. All Rights Reserved)

I walked with Simon of Cyrene, not through the way of Calvary, through a pasture green.

I saw his footsteps in the clouds and all the reasoning and doubts dispersed like dreams.

I’ll never burn my ships again, as now I’ve learned to comprehend the man I’ve been.

Red Faced Jazz becomes a print!

(«Red Faced Jazz», by FBC, Image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. All Rights Reserved)

This is definitely proto Jazz Art. It is from 2016 as I was about to make the complete transition to JaZzArt, so it is important. It is very detailed and clear in postulating the elements of creating «jazz» which is to improvise, to be the player and the composer…at the same time…and to swing!

I have chosen this one to add to the collection that I have placed on Pixels so that some of these images, some of these original, one of a kind drawings (graphite and ink on Canson paper) can be available to a larger group of collectors and art lovers. This is only for a limited time.

And again I leave you with some sounds and some images…

MORE…originals turned to prints…

(Jazz-Art by FBC. Image property of FBC, Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia. All Rights Reserved)

This drawing with graphite and ink on Canson paper is officially part of Jazz-Art, although not JaZzArt, just getting there…

I have decided to make some of my original illustrations available as prints through Pixels and I encourage you to take a look…

And again, I leave you with a short video of my music and my artwork at Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia:
