THANKSGIVING

The air’s alive with fragrances and thoughts…

With dry leaves flying,
While autumn’s dying and winter’s
Trying to make its way back home.

Thoughts of gratitude,
that enrich our soul…

Thoughts of giving,
so that all can hope,
for a new tomorrow,
for a better day,
for all that and more,
now let us pray…

Thoughts of peace
That will bless our homes,
Such thoughts,
Such feelings…
Such love-filled hearts…

And the air’s also alive,
with the sweet smell
of a turkey in the oven,
pumpkin pie,
cranberry sauce,
stuffing,
and a glass of fine red wine
to toast to all you love,
so raise your glass above
your heart
and sincerely now,
give thanks.

Un pájaro negro desvela de sus sueños a la jardinera que cuida el jardín donde nadie penetra, donde solo los ojos ajados del tiempo intentan brindarle a la noche una guitarra, un pañuelo verde y rojo y una pandereta,

mientras que la jardinera lentamente abre los ojo y piensa en un café,

que el señor de los champiñones le sirve con miel de sirenas…

No one on Earth can change the course of history.

No one should doubt, there’s absolutes and laws,

and right and wrong and Ten Commandments, written deep upon the stone.

There is the purest white and purest darkness,

we’re free to choose between what’s right and wrong,

travelling through our thoughts, strong winds and lightning,

travelling through our ears an old, old song.

I stood one day in Central Park,

snow covered the ground,

I thought of summer…
