Este si es el bárbaro de la música moderna española, de la poesía y hasta de los pinceles porque el chaval también, como he dicho aquí antes, pinta… Ya pronto celebrara su cumpleaños (12 de febrero) y le extiendo mis parabienes, ¡Enhorabuena Joaquín!

Aquí os dejo algo nuevo, bueno, si eres fan me imagino que ya lo habrás escuchado, pero siendo fan se que te encantaría escucharlo otra vez…

Compositor de grandes temas como:

• Peces de Ciudad
• Y Sin Embargo
• Yo Me Bajo en Atocha
• Con la Frente Marchita
• Aves de Paso
• Esta Boca Es Mía

Y muchísimos mas, y estas solo para Joaquín Sabina, también ha escrito la música para temas de Ana Belen, del duo Estopa y otros además de participaren la creación de la banda sonoras de las pelis Sinatra en 1988 y Como ser mujer y no morir en el intento de 1991.

Este guitarrista, compositor y cantante acompañó a Joaquin Sabina desde los ochenta hasta el 2020… En 1995 lanzó su único disco titulado Pancho Varona… Fue encargado de la producción, mezcla y arreglos de muchísimos de los grandes discos de Joaquín Sabina a partir de 1982… Fue parte de Viceversa, la banda de Sabina durante todas las giras durante esos años, digamos hasta el 2020… Entonces en noviembre de 2022 anuncia en sus redes sociales que Sabina lo ha sacado de su banda y que no participará en su próxima gira «Contra todo pronóstico» del año 2023.

Pancho nació en Madrid en 1957 y vive en Madrid…

El arte no evoluciona. El concepto de la evolución, en otras palabras, la teoría que dice que los animales (y hasta el ser humano) se han desarrollado a través de un extraño proceso llamado «selección natural», basura en mi opinión, se ha aplicado a muchas cosas inorgánicas, una de ellas, la pintura. Bueno, amigos míos, estoy aquí para deciros que el arte/pintura/escultura, etc., no evoluciona. El arte simplemente es. Todo el arte fue contemporáneo en un momento y lo que era en ese momento reflejaba, y llevaba en su interior, el espíritu de su época. El arte contemporáneo presente no «evolucionó» a partir del arte de generaciones pasadas. Es el arte de los pintores contemporáneos quienes pintan con el espíritu de nuestro tiempo. Aquellos que no lo hacen, bueno, su arte significará ni representará nada…

Art does not evolve. The concept of evolution, in other words the theory that says that animals have developed through some strange process called «natural selection», rubbish in my book, has been applied to many non-organic things, one is painting. Well my friends, I am here to tell you that art/painting/sculpture et al, does not evolve. Art is. All art was contemporary at one point and what it was at the time reflected and carried within it the spirit of the times. Present contemporary art did not «evolve» from the art of past generations. It is the art of the presente contemporary painters who paint with the spirit of our times. Those who do not, well, their art will mean and represent nothing…
