This was a super fun song that I loved from the first time I heard it back in 2005. «Redneck Yacht Club» was written by Thom Shepherd and Steve Williams, and recorded by Craig Morgan , an American country music singer. The song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 and was also certified GOLD for digital downloads. Quite a hit. The video is fun too,
Hope you like this oldie-goldie for a Saturday! Let me know!
Vivienne might not be a painter/artist but she certainly was an artist. So I find it quite fitting that she be included in the Women’s Artists Series. She was born in Derbyshire, England in 1941. She passed away in 2022 in London. She was the designer of the Punk and New Wave movement. She had a shop in London, Sex, from 1974 to 1976 where she created what all the punks wore, or wanted to wear. The boutique, that merged fashion with music, was the centre of the Punk fashion. Actually her partner, Malcolm McLaren was not only a fashion designer but the manager of the Sex Pistols.Westwood was ranked by Sky Arts as the 4th most influential artist in Britain in the last 50 years. Vivienne was also an activist for a better world. She opened shops not only throughout Britain, but around the world with fashion lines to promote political causes that she supported such as the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, climate change and civil rights groups…She was the genesis of the punk fashion movement and once said, «I was messianic about punk, seeing if one could put a spoke in the system in some way» («Vivienne Westwood: Disgracefully yours, the Queen Mother of Fashion». The Independent. London, England. 2 June 2002. Retrieved 31 March 2010).
Being that I too greatly admired Punk aesthetics, I thought it quite fitting to feature Vivienne. I hope you enjoy it and if you are interested in art, design, music, or whatever, you might benefit greatly by looking up more on this very creative and brilliant woman.
Ok, so this is a Dylan song. Yes, written by Bob Dylan, recorded in the 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home. But I prefer the cover by Bryan Ferry. Ferry recorded the song (along with a couple other Dylan songs he covered) in the album Frantic from 2002. The song is phenomenal and a classic. It is thought that «Baby Blue» may refer to Joan Baez, David Blue, Paul Clayton, Dylan’s folk audience or even Dylan himself. It still remains a mystery. And, of course, this song has been covered by almost everyone, including The Grateful Dead and Hugh Masekela…
So here is one of my favourite versions. What do you think?

Well today we are honoured with the presence of a writer, a scientist, and a mystic. We hope you enjoy this interview/article as much as we have.
A LITTLE ABOUT SUSANA
She was born in Évora, Portugal and currently lives in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Susana Cabaço, PhD, is a marine biologist who graduated from the University of Algarve (Portugal), where she worked for many years in scientific research, and a mystic who, for decades, has been journeying the paths of spirituality. Love for Spirit and Nature led her naturally to share her unique spiritual insights and more conscious ways of living through messages that inspire many in their personal journey toward higher awareness and renewed beingness. She’s currently based in Sofia, Bulgaria, where, along with her partner Dimitar and her fur babies Safira and Be, she f inds the opportunity to express her inner essence through spiritual writing and digital content.
AND WE TALKED ABOUT THESE THREE TOPICS
VALENCIARTIST: As a writer, i. e. a person engaged in creative thinking and activities, how do you see your profession and your creative activities coexisting with AI?
Susana: I am definitely not an AI enthusiast. I understand its benefits to humans—facilitating people’s lives—but I think it’s important to be aware that AI cannot replace our humane side. AI repeats or computes information. Humans think, feel, and have a conscience. And these are essential aspects for creative activities. Humans create, and the creative flow comes from inside—it’s powered by the soul. In this context—and call me old-fashioned if you want—I prefer to keep writing from my inner center, not using AI, and in no way do I feel threatened by it. The soulless AI can’t compete with soulful writing. An attentive and sensitive reader will not only know the difference but also value what has real value—what speaks to their soul. Soul-to-soul communication is gold and can’t be artificially replaced.
VALENCIARTIST: Do you believe writers, teachers, artists, in general, all those engaged in the wide world of the arts, should speak out against injustice, and other social issues? And also about the political situation of their country or other countries of the world?
Susana: I think they should do it, yes, especially if their “speak out” comes from their heart and not just because of the pulls and flows of society. In other words, it should be an answer to their inner call, something they feel inspired to do and is in alignment with their core values. This may take many forms, including their creative expressions. Still, the idea should always be raising people’s awareness of those situations and showing them new ways, rather than just “throwing stones” against the system. That the world has enough already.
A word of caution, though: because many creatives are sensitive people, their engagement with more inflamed issues of today’s world may cause them to get disconnected from their inner creativity center and flux. In this case, their best contribution is actually the beauty and relevance of their expressions, which by themselves are already of great service to the world.
VALENCIARTIST: What are your current plans and how do you see yourself in the near future in terms of your career as a writer?
Susana: For a long time I stopped planning for the future—near or far. The most significant events in my life happened unexpectedly—unplanned and suddenly! I trust in the bigger plan and in the benevolent flow of life. I prefer to be, as much as possible, in the here and now. To give it my full attention while being present with myself. Inner connection and inner alignment are the most important things for me. It is from this inner-centeredness that my writings come through. That the inner creative flow comes to light. And this is something precious not only to me but also to the many reading them (mostly through my blog and social media, also through my books). I feel it as part of my mission here on Earth. It’s a simple, unambitious mission, you may think, but the feedback I receive shows me otherwise. The inspiration, empowerment, upliftment, open-mindedness, realization, and enhanced awareness given to many by my short mystical pieces are relevant and even life-changing. Personally, too, my writing keeps me centered and blooming. It takes me easily into the bigger picture and timeless awareness. And so, for as long as there is benefit within and without, this is how I broadly see the next segments of my life journey. In the meantime, chances are that two new books, now in preparation, will come out. I am sure it will happen in perfect divine timing!
