Well, it appears that in 1982 Andy Warhol gave up tickets to go see Ozzy Osbourne to go have dinner at Mr. Chow’s. Yet that year they did meet.
Here is what Mr. Warhol said about The Prince of Darkness: «The rock kid who ate the heads off bats.»
And here is what The Prince of Darkness said of the artist: «I met Andy Warhol, but he was a weirdo surrounded by eccentrics.»
I fully agree with both impressions. Warhol was half right, Ozzy was a rock kid, but he only ate the head off one bat… And Ozzy was spot on about the boring, weirdo who did serigraphs of cans of Campbell soup…
So long Ozzy…

As far as I know, the bat was fake. They were both weirdos, for sure. But we are losing all of our rock icons. RIP!
