Very interesting artist, but some of the paintings are close to being creepy. Just my reaction. All the chlldren are so sad. Haunting images.

Yes, they are a bit creepy, I would say as well, and she seemed to be interested in capturing the haunting silence that is sometimes seen in children that may or are abused or mistreated.
