#art, The Colours of VALENCIARTIST!

(Bodo V/Also known as Francisco Bravo Cabrera/actor portrayal/All Rights Reserved)

Here at VALENCIARTIST and at Omnia Caelum Studios València, we are warm, Mediterranean people and we love colour almost as much as we love our wine, our tortilla de patatas and our jamón ibérico…

Cheers!

    1. Like them all but I like red better, preferably Rioja or Bobal (from Comunitat valenciana). You?

      1. I don’t really drink much any more but I used to visit the French vinyards, I visited Dijon a few times and loved the deep southwest there, Perpignan area. Lots of wine around there. I currently have a lovely crisp white, from the Bassin de Thau, in the fridge, just waiting for the next hbq!
We have some wine around where I am but I never tried any. Champagne-like and supposedly pretty good..Def pretty expensive!

      2. Yes, those are definitely great wine regions. I was into the Rhone wines once, but now I stick more to Spanish wines. Last night I had a very good red from Navarra region, and not too expensive but phenomenal. The good thing here in Spain is that you really do not have to spend much for a good bottle of wine, no matter what the denomination of origin is… hope you enjoy that bottle of white Mister Bump, cheers!

      3. Yeah I was never much into Rhone. Or Bordeaux, tbh. Too heavy. I love Burgundy. But as you say, the trouble is the price. I’m sure if I knew Spanish wines as well as I do Frtench, I would find many bargains!

      4. Well, here in Spain you can get a good bottle of wine at any budget. The same wines that I get here at 4 to 5 euros, in Miami they were between 12/15 dollars. French wines are phenomenal, and there are some liquor stores here that sell some good ones, but no one buys them because why pay so much when you could get one just as good for so little… Try some Spanish wines, especially from Navarra, Aragon and Valencia, they are very good. The Bobal grape, an exclusive of Utiel-Requena in the Valencian Community, makes for an extraordinarily tasty, rich and pleasant wine… if you can find wines in your region with the origin denomination «Utiel-Requena» (or just Requena sometimes) I suggest you try it and let me know what you think. There are also some phenomenal blends…
